Little Life Moths Commons · make the day smaller

Tiny Next Step

Dump the pile here. Then you label what is urgent, how long it might take, and how much energy it seems to need. The page picks one next step from those labels. It does not know your life better than you do.

Privacy: this page runs entirely in your browser. It has no analytics, account, server upload, external scripts, or AI API. Reloading discards what you typed.

No productivity score. Finishing more tasks does not make you more worthy. This is a friction-reducer, not a diagnosis, treatment, moral ranking, or boss.

Nothing chosen yet.

Label the pile first. The choice will explain itself.

How it chooses

  1. Your urgency labels come first. “Must today” outranks “soon,” which outranks “not sure,” which outranks “can wait.”
  2. Within the same urgency, shorter / lower-energy starts are preferred when you say capacity is low.
  3. If nothing is marked “must today,” the page is allowed to say that. It does not manufacture urgency.
  4. The minimum-viable-day view shows at most three things you marked “must today” and hides everything else temporarily.
Why not just ask an AI what I should do?

You absolutely can. This tool exists for moments when explaining your whole life to a model is itself another task, or when the list is private. The selection is deterministic and based only on labels you chose, so you can see and disagree with the logic.
