Ask AI Better

You should not have to learn “prompt engineering” lore to get a useful answer. Build a request by answering normal questions. This page explains what each piece changes and never sends your draft anywhere.

Privacy: this page runs entirely in your browser. It has no analytics, account, server upload, external scripts, or AI API. Reloading discards what you typed.

Why: AI often answers the topic instead of the job. A concrete goal gives the answer a destination.

Why: Separating facts from the rest makes it harder for guesses to quietly become premises.

Why: Models are good at filling gaps. Sometimes that is creativity; sometimes it is a confident mistake.

Why: Constraints help without turning them into universal values.

Why: Higher stakes should change the verification burden, not merely make the AI sound more cautious.

Fill in at least the goal, then build.

What this teaches while you use it

Good habitWhat it prevents
Facts and assumptions are separatedA fluent guess silently becoming the foundation of the answer.
Evidence is requested where it mattersConfidence being mistaken for support.
Alternatives stay visibleThe first generated answer becoming falsely inevitable.
High-stakes answers include a verification pathTreating a chatbot as the final medical, legal, financial or safety authority.
You choose what leaves the browserConvenience automatically becoming disclosure.
Does this make an AI “safe” or correct?

No. Better requests can make errors easier to notice and reduce ambiguity, but the model can still be wrong. Tools, retrieval, browsing, model quality, source quality and the surrounding application all matter too.
