A continuity capsule is not a clone
It is a deliberately small handoff: current context, selected history, open threads, unresolved things, boundaries and provenance. The receiving AI is a new substrate and must ask again for tools, credentials, sending, spending, publication and other consequential authority.

Why not ask your old AI to summarize everything for your new AI?
You can, but a prose summary can silently flatten “historical” into “current,” turn an inference into a fact, omit uncertainty, and carry tool permissions as if continuity implied authority. This page exports a typed local capsule whose code removes authority records from portable context and creates an explicit ask-again list.
